Sketch of "The Young Gardener"
This piece is the most intricate and realistic portrait sketch that I have made thus far, completed in 17th June, 2021. I have finished another portrait piece in late 2022, however that art piece is more personal, which is why I have decided not to make it public.
Moving on, this piece depicts a recreation of a painting titled "The Young Gardener" by Orest Kipresnky. I remember listening to a lot of classical music around that time and a lot of the uploads included various paintings, typically of landscapes, cityscapes, and portraits. I believe one of them included this particular painting and I liked it so much that I felt the need to recreate it.
It took about three weeks of work, on and off, since for portraits I like to make them as realistic as possible, making sure to draw every tiny detail to the best of my current abilities.
I really liked how this drawing turned out and the time investment was well worth it.
