Dragon Ball Z drawing

I'm sure looking at this drawing next to everything else raised some eyebrows, so here's the backstory.

Back in late 2009, five year old Imtiaq loved watching cartoons, including Dragon Ball Z. And so did his elder brother, back then he was 14 and used to draw too, with many of his art featuring the characters from that show.

I remember thinking that his art looked extremely good and as a typical little boy, I wanted to try as well. This is one of those attempts of mine. The outfit looks like I'm trying to draw Goku, but then there's the hair which actually belongs to Vegeta, one foot also seems to be missing...
Overall this piece is about as intricate as it gets for kindergarteners.

I recall me being sad because it didn't look good which is really funny to think back about. My art class teacher in school used to say I really sucked at drawing as well. One of the subjects they'd ask us to draw was a mango. And I vividly recollect how the art teacher reacted to my attempt at drawing the fruit. He exclaimed that it looked so bad, he thought I drew a rotten mango instead. A bit harsh but it was primarily meant as a light hearted jab... I think?

Regardless, it's fun looking back at these memories, hopefully my old art teacher won't think my mangos are still rotten!
