Cowboy Bebop digital art
I got a graphics tablet back in mid 2021 and did a few doodles on it to get familiar with the digital art workflow. After getting comfortable I wanted to try a serious art piece with it, but at the time I was lacking inspiration. Around the same time, I was also starting to grow an interest in playing guitar, however I wanted to try it out before investing in one.
So I ended up making a deal with a friend. I'd draw a character he likes in exchange for lending his guitar to me for a couple of months. He agreed and picked Spike from the anime Cowboy Bebop. I spent a couple of weeks working on this and since I was going to print it out for him, I tried my best to give it the look of a poster, hence the striking colors. This piece was finished on 14th August, 2021.
P.S- I did end up enjoying playing guitar and found that it wasn't as hard as I had imagined. So I ended up purchasing a Yamaha F600 acoustic guitar.
