Statue of David sketch
This piece is older than you'd imagine. Completed in the 11th of April, 2020, this piece was made when I discovered the beautiful intricacy of Michelangelo di Lodovico's famous marble statues.
I love details and his statues struck a chord with me. So much so that I felt that I had to draw his most famous sculpture "The Statue of David" and that is how this piece came to be.
To this day, this is one of my absolute favorite portraits thanks to its elegant allure.
